About Us

MedicareBlue Solutions is the name used by a regional group of seven Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans to provide coverage options for people with Medicare. This includes affordable health care coverage such as Medicare Supplement to cover what Medicare does not pay, a Medicare Advantage plan and prescription drug coverage (Part D). These products and services are only available to residents in the seven-state service area of Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Our Products

MedicareBlue PPO^SM is a Medicare Advantage plan that combines health care and prescription drug coverage.
MedicareBlue Rx^SM is a standalone Medicare Prescription Drug plan that is often combined with a Medicare Supplement plan.
Group MedicareBlue PPO^SM offers combined health care and drug coverage with the flexibility to meet the unique needs of employer groups and unions.
Group MedicareBlue Rx^SM allows flexible prescription drug plan designs geared towards the unique needs of employer groups and unions. (Unlike other MedicareBlue Solutions products, Group MedicareBlue Rx members are not required to live in the seven-state service area; they can live anywhere in the U.S.)
Medicare Supplement plans, traditional health care coverage to cover the gaps in Medicare, are specific to each Blue Cross and Blue Shield state plan.
